I was really lucky to catch a temporary exhibit on Mayan culture at the National Palace, since I couldn’t make it to any Mayan sites outside of the city. They had everything from jade death masks to a Mayan ball game hoop! Really great interactive stuff too, especially if you understand or can make out Spanish. Only here through April (2014), though!
