Airport to Hotel/City Centre
There are some excellent affordable options for traveling from the Airport to the City Center of Oslo. I stayed at the Radisson Blu Plaza which is located very close to both the train and bus terminals and within easy walking distance.  For other hotels, travelers can either take a taxi from the terminal or use Oslo’s outstanding public transport system.
Flybussen
The Airport Express Coach (Flybussen) offers convenient, high-comfort transportation at a reasonable price between  Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL) and Oslo city centre. Free wifi is also available for passengers. The bus has eight scheduled stops along the way with the last stop being the bus terminal behind the Radisson Blu Plaza.

Although the website says that it may take up to 40 minutes to reach the hotel, on my trip it was only about 22 minutes. The travel time, of course, is determined largely by the traffic at the time of travel. The bus was clean, modern and quite comfortable and my luggage, stored underneath in the luggage compartment, was loaded and offloaded by the driver. Once you exit the bus enter the terminal, turn left and continue until you reach a large moving sidewalk which will take you to the upper level. Continue straight and out the door. Turn right and take the ramp down to the front of the hotel.
The prices are:
  • Single Adults  NOK150.00
  • Return Adults NOK  250.00
  • Single Children under 16 years  NOK 80.00
  • Single Senior/Student NOK 80.00
TRAIN
The fastest way to downtown Oslo is by Flytoget, the shuttle train, which takes you to the city center in 20 minutes. A one-way ticket costs NOK 160. Trains run from 5:35 am to 12:35 am every ten minutes.
Once off the express train,  take the escalator up and then take a quick right-hand turn and head out the door.  After a short walk across a pedestrian walkway and down a ramp, you will be right at the the front of the Radisson Blu Plaza. Other hotels may be easily reached by taking the local bus or a taxi.
However, if you are on a tight budget, the cheapest way to get to the city center is to take the regional train that connects the airport with Oslo S (the main railway station). The price is NOK 82 and the journey takes about 25 minutes.
