I received several emails from chase credit cards on targeted bonus promotions happening during the 3rd quarter.
Hyatt offered 5,000 bonus points for $3,000 in spend from July 1- Sept 30, 2013 after registration. The bonus points are in addition to the points you will already earn. This is not an earth shattering or great promotion but if you do manufactured spending then this shouldn’t be too hard to meet.5k points is good for a free night at a category 1 hotel.
Southwest airlines is running a promotion where you can earn double points on flights booked on southwest website and paid with your southwest credit card. Travel must be from July1-Aug 31, 2013. This means that you will earn 14 points/$ on wanna get away fares. 12 points from the flight and 2 points from the credit card. Bonus points do not count towards A-list or Companion pass qualification.
After registration for this targeted promotion, you will get 4 A+ credits when you make $1,000 in purchases on your Airtran Card from July1-Aug 31, 2013. As a reminder, $1,200 in purchases will get you 1 A+ credit and 8 credits will get you a one way ticket on either Airtran or Southwest.
Point, Miles and Mai Tais also received a bonus promotion from her US airways card.
