Delta sent me this targeted email where I could receive 500 miles for opting in for their emails. Sure why not..saves me a trip to Walmart 🙂 To receive your miles, opt in here. They will then send you an email to confirm your subscription to their emails. You must stay opted in for their emails until Sept 30, 2013 to receive your points. If you already receive all the emails from them, you many not qualify for this bonus but you can check anyways.

This might be similar to the paperless statements offer by U.S. Airways. Opt out, then wait to get invited and opt back in. Worked for me. Thanks for this tip. I just opted out of all their junk and will wait and see.
