Members who have Silver, Gold, or Concierge status will now be able to have discounts on food and beverages at participating hotels worldwide. Previously, the discounts only applied to in-hotel restaurants in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. It also looks like they increased the discount from 15% to 20% for Concierge status.

For Diamond and Platinum members:
Starting Feb 14, wi-fi will be available for free for all guest, so they increased the speed for elite members.
For Diamond members:

Beginning 3/9/15, Platinum Members who stay 50 or more nights will be able to choose one of the following:
1) 10 Suite Night Awards
2) Gift SPG Gold Status
3) 4 Free Uber rides (up to $25 each)
4) $100 Amazon Gift Card
5) $100 Unicef Donation
6) TSA Pre-Check Fee Waiver
Marriott
The hotel program will begin enforcing points expiration starting next year. For those members who haven’t had any activity for a while, this year would be a good time to earn a few points to keep them active. Lifetime Status members will be exempt from this expiration.
It’s a little worrying that they can’t spell ‘dining,’ though. 🙂

SPG’s alternatives for SNA are very underwhelming. Other than one person, all the comments/posts I’ve read indicate that people will stick to SNAs.
With regards to Hyatt, you left out their new “Guest of Honor” benefit for Diamond members which actually seems to be somewhat useful:
Guest of Honor — Beginning March 1, you can extend your on-property Diamond benefits (such as Regency Club or Grand Club access, free breakfast and late check-out) to family or friends when your transfer a free night stay using Hyatt Gold Passport points. By extending Diamond privileges to friends or family on an award stay, Hyatt is providing the warmest possible welcome and an extraordinary on-property experience

End of the year was totally crazy, so your comment is how I found out about the Austin MegaDO 🙁 What a bummer as I will also not be able to attend Dallas FTU either (coincides with my trip to Japan)…
