From the El Conquistador hotel, it was a five minute drive north to Laguna Grande in Fajardo Puerto Rico. Laguna Grand is a seasonal phosphorescent lagoon in the Cabezas Nature Reserve which is famous for bio-luminescent activities. There are many tour companies in the Laguna Grande area that offers kayaking activities in the bio-luminescent bay.

The Island Kayaking tour company seemed to have the largest presence with their red, yellow, and orange kayaks.
Nearby was the Bio Island II tour company which offers a speedboat type tour.
Another company was simply called Kayaking which was offering bio-luminescent bay tours as well.
Nearby is the Parque Las Croabas which is a park that has playground activities for kids.
Around the area, there were barren shops and restaurants.
I didn’t participate in any of the mentioned activities as I was short on time, but next time I will definitely try it out. If you’re interested in activities in Fajardo, you should try one of these kayaking companies. I will leave you with breathtaking ocean pictures of Laguna Grande.
