Last week on May 29th, Gary from View From The Wing wrote about claiming his first American Elite Rewards Milestone. I quickly tried to claim my link from my iPhone, but it kept timing out due to an initial bug on American Airline’s mobile site. Later on that evening, I tried again and it worked.
I chose the 10,000 Bonus miles because it was worth at least a $200 minimum to me at 2 cents per mile. All the other options were subpar and well worth less than $200 in my book.
Today I checked my account and I saw that the 10,000 miles have posted and had a backdate of May 29th which was the original date I submitted my award.
