Barrio Guamilito is a small neighborhood within San Pedro Sula that has its own uniqueness and I found it to be very quaint.

I noticed there were a lot of hospitals and clinics particularly focused on eye care.

Within Barrio Guamilito is the Mercado Guamilito where tourists come to flock and buy souvenirs.

It seemed like there weren’t any tourists (except me) inside the market buying cheap local handicrafts and souvenirs.

Locals come here for the amazing local Honduran food.

In addition, there were people making handmade tortillas inside the Mercado Guamilito.
