Tripadvisor has posted their travelers choice 2013 picks for the top 26 beaches in the world. Now, I wold have to say I haven’t been to most of these, with the exception of a couple of places, I can say some the choices are indeed questionable. They picked the first one in Lampedusa, Italy. Now I don’t know if you are aware of this place, but it’s a key spot for North Africans trying to to leave their countries, and emigrating to Europe. They have an immigration detention center on the Island, and I don’t see how this place would be a great place to visit. I think the ones I can agree on as being awesome are Ka’anapali Beach in Maui, and Boracay in the Philippines, as those are places rock, and you cant go wrong. I’m not sure why my favorite beach isn’t on this list–Redang Beach in Malaysia, but should be. On any note, browse the list and see if you agree. Let me know what you think!
