Register for Club Carlsons Double Points or Double Nights Promo

Club Carlson is currently running a promotion where you could earn double points or double nights after registration. Since the Club Carlson credit card gives you Gold Status, I think registering for double points is more lucrative. Stays must be completed from Nov 4-Dec 30, 2014.

Members currently earn 20 points/$ for hotel stays, so with this promo, you will be earning 40pts/$. Also if you have status, then you will be getting bonus points on the original 20 points/$ so your total earning will look like this:

Silver Status at 10% bonus = 42 points/$

Gold Status at 35% bonus = 47 points/$

Concierge Status at 75% bonus = 55 points/$

These points can be used to redeem for free nights based on the award chart below;

The kicker is that if you have the Club Carlson credit card, it allows you to get a free night for each stay when redeeming award points. For example if you stay 2 nights, you only redeem for 1 night and if you stay for 3 nights, you only redeem for 2 nights.
