My Second Puerto Rico Mileage Run Vacation on American Airlines

I booked several $266-$300 mileage runs earlier in the year from Los Angeles to Puerto Rico for travel in May, June, and September. These mileage runs are key in my quest for American Airline Executive Platinum requalification. This is my second series of my mileage run vacations to Puerto Rico. I have been to Puerto Rico only twice prior to this trip. Last year, I stayed in Old San Juan and this year, I wanted to try different parts of Puerto Rico. On my First Puerto Rico Mileage Run Vacation, I chose to stay in Ponce. On this trip, I chose Fajardo which is a 45 minute drive from San Juan Airport.

My routing for this trip is LAX-JFK-SJU-MIA-LAX. I got upgraded on 3 of 4 segment to First and Business Class. The hardest upgrade to clear is the LAX-JFK transcon, which will be a battlefield upgrade in the morning.

Domestic Business Class and First Class is nothing to rave about on American Airlines, so I will not be reviewing my flights on this trip report. Airline food pictures will be posted on my personal Twitter and Instagram accounts if you are interested.
