Mexico City Airport Centurion Club Lounge in Terminal 2

There are two American Express Centurion Lounges in Mexico City Airport. Earlier this year, I visited the Centurion Lounge in Terminal 1. This time, I was in transit to Los Angeles and I found out there was another Centurion Club Lounge in Terminal 2 of Benito Juarez (MEX) airport.

There was plenty of exterior signage leading to the American Express Centurion Club travel lounge.

You can enter this lounge if you hold a Gold, Platinum, or Centurion American Express charge card.

The lounge dragons were very picky about pictures and advised me that I would be escorted out if I violate the no-pictures rule. They said it was a rule from American Express. However, I took a few pictures when they were not looking.

Once inside the lounge, there are two sections. The larger main area is for American Express Gold charge card holders.

The other section is a small area with private cabanas for Platinum and Centurion charge cardholders. The lounge attendant told me that I could go in the main room if I wanted to.

I took a seat in the private section and the lounge attendant brought over a Centurion Lounge menu. There weren’t as many freebies like the Centurion Club Lounge in Terminal 1, but it was adequate.

I ordered a coke with lemon, potato chips, and a savory pretzel mix.

I definitely prefer the Centurion Club Lounge in Terminal 1 over this one since there are better complimentary options including hot items. The best Centurion Lounge I’ve ever been to is the one in Las Vegas.

  2. You didn’t talk about the terrace, spa and shower section and centurion card holders area. There is a little room for kids.
