Earlier this week, I flew from LAX-SJD and SJD-LAX and was surprised to see a new vodka mini bottle when I asked for my usual drink, cranberry and vodka. Say goodbye to Finlandia and Absolut Vodka onboard American Airlines. There’s a new sheriff in town and that’s Tito’s Handmade Vodka made from Austin, Texas.
According to this Flyertalk thread, United started implementing Tito’s vodka earlier this year in May because the Absolut minis were being discontinued in production.
I also had a chance to try new snack items in coach such as Hummus with Pita chips and Garrett’s Popcorn (The Chicago Mix). Both were delicious and free for Executive Platinums.
Have you seen Tito’s Handmade vodka onboard your American flight?
United has also Tito’s
*United also has Tito’s…and no, I haven’t been drinking, LOL
Tito’s is a good vodka.
It is a pleasure to see large companies like AA supporting smaller businesses (Alaska does this to with certain mid-size breweries).
Alaskan Amber (served on AS) is one of my all time favorites. Also always a treat to get ice cold Kona on the way to HI!
