Ticket Sales Phase 1 Begin Today For The 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil

Starting today (August 20, 2013), you can begin applying for random selection draw tickets for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Most recently, I wrote about How to Trip Plan for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and The Real Costs of Attending the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

There are three sales phases as outlined below:

Right now, we are in the Sales Phase 1 period which is the random selection draw period and begins today (August 20, 2013) through October 10, 2013.

If you are not yet familiar with the game matches, see the Match Schedule.

Before applying for match tickets, check out the ticket prices.

If you are still unsure about the whole ticketing guide, there is a Ticketing Fan Guide in PDF format.

There are 7 steps to the ticketing process and is outlined below:

Basically, create an account on the FIFA website:

Fill out the necessary information including which match tickets and category of seat prices you would like.

After you enter your credit card number, you will receive a confirmation screen that looks like this:

Be aware that your credit card is NOT charged at the time of request. Basically it’s a random draw selection and you will not know which tickets you have acquired until shortly after the draw period on October 10, 2013.
