The Sights and Sounds of Barrio Bellavista in Santiago Chile Part 2

Last year, I wrote about The Sights and Sounds of Barrio Bellavista and I ventured out again to capture the restaurant scene because that’s what Barrio Bellavista is all about. To get to Barrio Bellavista, you have to take the metro to Plaza Italia which is the Baquedano Metro subway station.

Plaza Italia is a lively square itself because you can find flea markets during the daytime.

You can also find the Teatro Universidad de Chile and a makeshift contemporary art museum located inside a cargo container.

Barrio Bellavista is home to many sidewalk cafes, restaurants, and bars. The scene is lively throughout the wee hours of the night.

If you’re looking for upscale cuisine, check out Patio Bellavista on Pio Nono Street.

You can also find Karaoke bars in Barrio Bellavista.
