Delta Air Lines Releases the 2015 Award Mileage Redemption Chart

A friend of mine was able to get a copy of the 2015 Award Chart from the Delta Air Lines website when it was updating for maintenance. Apparently the award chart leaked and he saved a screenshot of it. The website reverted itself back when Delta’s IT team realized what had happened. For what it’s worth, here is the new 2015 chart:

It seems like Delta increased its award redemptions in Economy and First/Business Class across the board. What’s not surprising is that Delta left the 25,000 Economy Saver awards untouched. It seems like Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Mexico also remain untouched. In addition, South America remained unchanged. This is a huge blow to the Delta Skymiles program and anyone who wishes to fly Delta in the future. I don’t know anyone who would want to redeem 440,000 Skymiles for a peak award to South Africa.

UPDATE: I am now quite skeptical about this chart now that I think about it. I am just putting it out there for what it’s worth since it was e-mailed to me from a friend.

  1. Delta already said the new chart will have 5 redemption tiers, so obviously this is not it

  2. this doesn’t make sense as i thought there were going to be 5 redemption tiers and this shows only 3
