The middle class Argentines live in high rise apartments in Recoleta.

Recoleta is home to many monuments and green parks.

If you like shopping, Recoleta is the place to be. There is a mix of high end and trendy shops such as Buenos Aires Design where you can find designer home goods. Luxury goods can be purchased at Patio Bullrich mall and you can find familiar names like Salvatore Ferragamo.

Trendy boutique sidewalk shops are plentiful in Recoleta.

For a traditional U.S. type mall, you can go to the Recoleta Mall which also houses a movie theater.

Recoleta is most famous for the La Recoleta Cemetery which is quite touristy. It’s fun to see tourists scramble on a map and get lost to find the famous grave of Evita. It’s a cool place to check out, but it gets old really fast. You probably never want to step foot in here again after the first time.
