Earlier this week, I had a nightmare flight on American Airlines 974 from Rio de Janeiro to New York. Thankfully, I was re-booked the next day and got home safely. Here’s some footage behind the scenes with an American Airlines flight attendant on this exact same flight from Rio to New York.
After watching the video which is 3 years old, I found that not much has changed in terms of service and the food. In fact, I had the exact same meal entrée which was Chateaubriand and it was plated the exact same way.
It’s amazing how much work and effort flight attendants do on a daily basis to make sure that we are well fed. Hopefully this video has given you insight on what it’s like to be a American Airlines flight attendant on an international long haul.
