LAX Flagship Lounge at American Airlines Terminal 4

The American Airlines LAX Flagship Lounge at Terminal 4 is one of my favorite lounges at Los Angeles International Airport. I’ve been to this lounge many times and have reviewed it here, here, here, here, here, and most recently here. There’s always something new at this lounge from time to time and this time there was a new Martini Bar during the evening hours.

I was able to access the Flagship Lounge at the LAX Admirals Club because I was an American Airlines Executive Platinum member flying on an international itinerary. The AAngel handed me a key access card to access the LAX Flagship Lounge.

I was at the lounge during dinner time and I’ve never seen it crowded, ever.

The dinner buffet spread consisted of mini deli sandwiches, fruit salad, assorted cheese and crackers, pasta salad, and balsamic roasted vegetable salad.

The main entrée consisted of tangy mustard maple syrup marinated & roasted pork loin with whole grain mustard sauce served with roasted seasonal vegetables and rice.

There was also garden vegetable soup, cookies, assorted chips, granola bars, whole fresh fruit, and a nut mix.

A coffee machine was available in addition to a fridge full of water and soft drink beverages.

Alcoholic spirits, wine, and champagne were also available.

I had a little bit of everything and the pork loin was delicious.

One thing that I noticed that was a new Martini bar being set up right next to the Flagship check-in desk. This is in addition to the self-serve alcoholic offerings near the buffet spread.

The Martini Bar menu features five unique cocktails and reads as follows:

There was so much to choose from and the bartender recommended tonight’s feature which was the Talk of the Lounge martini drink. I went with the Talk of the Lounge and also sampled the appetizers. The martini was pretty strong, but felt refreshing like lemonade. The appetizers were also pretty good.

I finished my meal with delicious Flagship chocolates which was available from the Flagship Lounge check-in counter (look for the basket full of chocolates).

The bartender also mentioned that the new Martini bar has been getting a lot of good feedback so far from guests. The Martini Bar is only open during the evening from 5:30pm to 11pm. I love it so far and highly recommend the Talk of the Lounge drink!

  1. I’ve always wondered what is on the other side from the regular lounge. Thanks for posting.
