I didn’t find my favorite G500 model Mercedes anywhere in my local area, so I will pass on this offer. Why not get the Amex Mercedes Benz charge card to pay for the pre-owned Merc and get 50k Membership Rewards points + 5 points per dollar spent at Merc retailers? A $25k Merc = 125k MR points + 50k from the signup spending bonus (after spending $3k in 3 months) = 175k MR. Add 25k MileagePlus miles for the United promo. Wouldn’t that be a better combo?
