The W Austin– just a few blocks from the Austin Convention Center, and at the heart of South by Southwest.  Thanks to South by Southwest, this hotel has become home to many in the tech world when they’re in Austin.

 

Hotel Avante has earned the nickname “Hotel Google” because of it’s Mountain View, California location. Appealing to the geek chic, the hotel has put a Rubik’s Cube, an Etch-a-Sketch, Yo-Yo, a slinky in each room.

 

The Ace Hotel, NY – located down the street from Tumblr, Foodspotting, and Hunch, the Ace is a popular hotel among many Facebook staffers and frequented by start-up CEOs.

CitizenM hotel, London – this hotel brands its self as “a hotel for mobile citizens of the world- the suits, weekenders, explorers, affair-havers and fashion-grabbers looking for boutique hotel accommodations.”  The London location makes it a great locale for the techie on the go.

 

Hotel Monaco Seattle – this hotel has Guitar Hero Happy Hours in its lobby – you know you’re at a geek chic hotel when you hear Guitar Hero Happy Hour.  Hotel Monaco is a Kimpton Hotel and a favorite among business travelers looking for a techie-boutique feel.  The hotel’s Seattle locale doesn’t hurt either.
