For weeks now the team at First2Board has been keeping a secret. It’s been hard to keep it hush hush, but somehow, we’ve managed to to do it. About 3 months ago when we launched a few people joked on Twitter that we should host a ‘DO’ and we lovingly called it Fiji14 – The First2Board ‘DO’. Well, Fiji14 is still a dream for many – and I’m sorry to say that’s not the secret.
So, what is the secret? First2Board is having a big event! We’re introducing the City Sessions and the first City will be Charleston, South Carolina. The City Sessions aren’t conferences, they’re not DOs, and they’re not Universities. So what are they exactly? Well, they’re an opportunity to gather in a city, meet other travel nuts (did I say nuts? I meant enthusiasts.) and above all else, explore a city! There will be great food, great tours, great conversation and more.

It is under 650 miles from NYC, but AA does not fly there, it looks like 🙁
I love Charlston, what a great place to kick things off from! great crab cake Benedict and fried green tomatoes last time I was in town. Not sure of my schedule but would be keen to do this if I’m free- heading on a cruise sometime that week.

@The Miles Professor – AA does fly here from DFW and MIA, US Air form NY (LGA) Jet Blue from JFK and United from EWR. And pretty soon we’ll be a big AA city with the merger 🙂
