Rocketmiles is a website where you can book hotels in select cities for select hotels and you can earn airline points. They just added Southwest Airlines as a hotel partner so for new customers, you can get 3,000 bonus points for your first booking in addition to the airline points you will get with the booking. Since this is a partner, these points may count towards a Southwest Companion Pass. I have not tried this but if someone has success please let us know.
Just a reminder that you may not earn status or points with the hotel loyalty program that you book with but some may count so make sure to add your hotel number just in case.
