I absolutely love the 767 and 777 planes in Business Class on American Airlines. The best part about both configurations is the ability to lie flat and sleep on a long flight. For my flight on American Airlines from GIG-MIA (Rio de Janeiro to Miami), it was on a 767-300 in Business Class. It was a delight to find out that the same crew on my previous flight was on this flight back to Miami. They also spent less than 34 hours in Rio de Janeiro.

American Airlines GIG-MIA (Rio de Janeiro to Miami) 767-300 Business Class
The 763 Business Class seat contained a pillow, blanket, and the new red American Airlines amenity kit.
The flight attendant offered me champagne, mimosa, orange juice, or water. I opted for the champagne.
The Business Class menu with a wine list was presented. Pardon the odd looking yellow glare in the pictures- the lighting on my seat was absolutely terrible.
After takeoff, I was offered my choice of beverage and warm mixed nuts. I had a coke this time instead of my usual cranberry and vodka with lime.
The starter was fresh mozzarella, prosciutto and grilled vegetables. It also came with a side salad with premium extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
As an entree, I had the Brodetto which is calamari, shrimp and whitefish simmered in tomato coulis, offered with polenta. It was a small dish and I was left feeling hungry. I should’ve had the Chateaubriand instead.
For dessert, I had a fully loaded made to order ice cream sundae.
45 minutes before landing, the flight attendant woke me up for breakfast. Breakfast consisted of a bacon potato omelette, which was served with garlic sautéed spinach and cherry tomatoes.
Again, this was the best crew I’ve ever encountered on an American Airlines international flight. The flight attendants were all nice and greeted me by my name. The food came out quick and they were all attentive in bringing out and clearing the dishes. There was no sundae cart as they brought each dessert out from the galley to each individual passenger. I was honored to have the same crew member serve me on my trip to Rio and back. This will definitely give me a lasting memory of my time spent in Rio.
