In the Yuyuan Garden Bazaar, you can find street stall vendors selling vegetable fried noodles.
You can also find fresh fried dumplings, onion pancakes, and the notorious smelling “stinky tofu”.
Vendors also sell egg rolls accompanied by fresh noodles, meatball soup, pig’s blood soup, and century old eggs.
Street stall vendors also sell fresh corn on the cob and various meats and seafood on a stick.
I went to Qipu Lu (Cheap Street) during breakfast hours and many vendors were selling morning pastries and jook (porridge).
Century year old eggs and noodles with spices and toppings are a common breakfast item.
The most famous dish on this street is the made to order egg crepe with scallions.
