Registration is now open for the 2014 August Summer DO to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Oman

Last year, I proposed a Dubai DO for August 2014 traveling through Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Oman. I’m organizing this trip because mileage running or buying any type of revenue ticket is expensive during the summer. We will be spending seven nights in hotels from Tuesday, August 12, 2014 – Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Basically, it’s a week long trip. Here are the pre-requisites for coming:

– Know what you’re getting into – Read this post regarding the itinerary (hotels & activities tentative, but dates firm)

– You MUST be able to use WhatsApp as a means of communication prior to the trip. You will be joining a fun private WhatsApp group chat. It’s available as a free downloading for iPhone, Android, Blackberry, and Windows Phone devices.

– You MUST arrive at the hotel (Le Meridien Fairway) in Dubai on August 12, 2014. This is an organized event where Jonathan (Wanderlusty) and I will be driving.

– This trip is not for the faint of heart. We will be hotel hopping every night and constantly in motion (driving or walking). Don’t forget that it’s going to be blistering HOT in the summer in Dubai.

There are only 7 available slots left for the August 2014 Dubai DO. To sign up for the DO, you must meet the aforementioned pre-requisites AND do one of the following:

1) Demonstrate that you have already booked your flights to the UAE. You must send me a screenshot of your ticket via e-mail. In addition, include your dates of arrival and departure. My e-mail address is jammanxc AT yahoo dot com.

OR

2) Pay a $100 non-refundable deposit to keep your commitment. When you arrive in the UAE, I will personally give you back $100. To register, please see this EVENTBRITE registration page.
