Points Summary

MEX Airport American Express Centurion Club T2 Lounge

Last year, I reviewed the American Express Centurion Club Lounge in Mexico City Airport Terminal 2. I reviewed the mini cabana space for Platinum and Centurion card members. This time, I went to the upper level private VIP Lounge area for Platinum and Centurion cardholders.

I visited this lounge during Dia de Los Muertos which means Day of the Dead (Mexican Halloween).

The front desk check in area had a beautiful display of a Dia de Los Muertos figure and a sign for Platinum card holders to enter the private cabanas.

I decided to check out the private VIP area that’s located in the upper level of the Centurion Lounge. I was alone and there was plenty of seating available with a large TV.

In addition, there was a private door for Centurion card members only.

The lounge also has a kid’s play room in the lower level.

This is the view of the Centurion Lounge from the upper level private VIP area.

The Centurion Lounge menu seemed to have been redesigned from the last time I visited.

I ordered complimentary cocktails such as cranberry vodka and a mojito.

I also ordered a small carne asada flatbread pizza from the Centurion Lounge menu.
