There are many quick and cheap fast food restaurants that can be found all over Santiago.
One of my favorite ones is Emporio Zunino near the Mercado Central which is famous for their empanadas.
All throughout the streets of Santiago, you can find a cool refreshing drink called Mote con Huesillo which is made with wheat and peaches.
If you’re looking for a healthy alternative for eats, check out the Mercado Central where you can find fresh fruits and vegetables.

I had lunch in Barrio Bellas Artes at a restaurant called Bar the Clinic.
Bar the Clinic’s restaurant menu was made of recycled paper and felt like a newspaper which was pretty cool.
I started out with a local beer called Cristal.
I ordered the Lomo a lo pobre which is steak with fries topped with grilled onions and a fried egg. It was absolutely delicious.
