A Quick Jaunt to Tijuana and Rosarito in Baja California Mexico

I took a trip to Tijuana and Rosarito back in November during Thanksgiving week. It was my first time back in Tijuana in almost a decade and I’ve always wanted to go back. I absolutely love Mexican food and Mexican culture. I have pretty much forgotten all about Baja California, so I decided to make a trip down and explore much of what people perceive Mexico as dangerous.

I chose Tijuana in Baja California as a destination because it’s so close to Los Angeles. Google Maps says 2 hours and 24 minutes driving, but I’ve made it in two hours.

In previous years, I’ve driven to Las Vegas to fulfill my quick vacation needs. My quick jaunts for the year will be Tijuana, Rosarito, and Ensenada. There is so much to explore and I will be substituting my quick jaunts to Las Vegas for Baja California.
