I usually don’t write reviews about travel in economy class, but this flight in particular stood out. I flew from Mexico City to Lima (MEX-LIM) on LAN Airlines and I was unable to secure a complimentary or paid upgrade. I was happy in economy class because I was able to choose a bulkhead aisle seat in advance 48 hours prior to check-in. The best thing about LAN is that they extend bulkhead and emergency exit row seating to oneworld emerald members.

The 767-300 economy class cabin is a 2-3-2 configuration with every seating having in-flight entertainment.
My seat is the bulkhead aisle and it contained a pillow, blanket, and headphones.
The bulkhead seat had plenty of room with a remote control on the left side of the seat to control the in-flight entertainment.
I visited the lavatory and was pleasantly surprised that there were amenities such as lotion, soap, and even a wet wipe.
I was stunned when I was presented with the economy class meal. I had chicken with rice and it came with bread and a chocolate cake. I was stunned because of the large entrée portions and it was on real dishware.
The service was pretty awesome in economy class too because the flight attendants would come around with a tray of drinks or a bottle of wine to top off our drinks throughout the flight. The bulkhead seat is definitely one of the better seats on the plane because of the legroom and full recline. The IFE (in-flight entertainment) was top notch and contained a lot of new movies. There was also a large variety of TV shows and games on the IFE. This amazing economy experience rivals that of KLM’s Economy Comfort.
