MEX Airport American Express Platinum Centurion Club T1 Lounge

Last year I reviewed the American Express Platinum Centurion Club Lounge in Terminal 1 of Mexico City International Airport. It’s been a year and now I’ve discovered that there are three Amex Centurion lounges in Mexico City airport which is in Terminal 1 (review), Terminal 1 Landside (review), and Terminal 2 (review 1, review 2). This is just a refresher update on the Terminal 1 lounge offerings.

You have to use the elevator to get down to the lounge or use the stairs. Once downstairs, you are greeted by the welcoming Spa room. Complimentary 15 minute massages are available from the spa attendant.

The lounge is really small and can get really full at times. I had a flight in the morning and it wasn’t crowded when I took the photo, but half an hour later, every seat was almost taken.

There’s also a bar area where you can seat yourself and order drinks.

If you’re sitting in the non-bar area, everything has to be ordered from the lounge attendants. The left hand side of the menu is complimentary from 5am-12pm.

I ordered Molletes served with salsa which was complimentary.

I ordered the eggs dish for 80MXN ~ ($6.11 USD) which was served refried beans and a tortilla chip. I could not pay with cash as it had to be charged onto my American Express Platinum card.
