Buenos Aires EZE Airport American Express Centurion Lounge

I was surprised to see that there was an American Express Centurion Lounge at Buenos Aires’ Ezezia International Airport (EZE). I was even more surprised when I found out that it looked like the AMEX Centurion Lounge in Las Vegas and Dallas Fort Worth (DFW). I was excited to visit this lounge as my quest is to visit every Amex Centurion/Platinum Card lounge in the world.

The Amex EZE lounge is located in the upper level of the International departures hall. You do need to have an American Express Platinum or Centurion card in order to gain access to the lounge.

The lounge even has a separate VIP door for Centurion cardholders only.

When I went in the afternoon, it was super packed. It seemed like everyone had a large family with two or three kids in tow.

There’s also a separate children’s play area.

This lounge boasts modern décor and even has iMacs in the business center.

The lounge spread consisted of cereal, bread, nuts, raisins, and medialunas.

There was also an espresso machine, non-alcoholic, and alcoholic beverages available.

Two things turned me off in this lounge. There were way too many people in the lounge and I had difficulty locating a place to sit down, eventually forcing me to leave. The food was absolutely paltry and not up to standards with the Centurion Lounges in Las Vegas and Dallas Fort Worth. I would avoid at all costs.
