On my short layover in Mexico City, I ventured out to see the famous Basilica of Our Lady Guadalupe. According to Wikipedia, the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe is a Roman Catholic Church, minor basilica and National Shrine of Mexico in the north of Mexico City.

I hopped on the subway from the Mexico City Airport and got off at the La Villa – Basilica metro station. You can find a lot of inexpensive eats and even some old arcade machines right next to the metro station.

There are many shops and restaurants along the path to the Basilica de Guadalupe in Plaza de las Americas. Can you spot the nuns?
