MEX Airport American Express Centurion Club T1 Landside Lounge

There are actually three American Express Centurion Clubs in Mexico City Airport. I’ve previously reviewed the Amex Centurion Lounge in Terminal 1 and the Amex Centurion Lounge in Terminal 2 here and here. This is my first time visiting the land-side Amex Centurion Club Lounge in Terminal 1 which is located outside security.

I was able to access the lounge with my American Express Platinum Card. The Centurion Club Lounges in Mexico City strictly forbid photos being taken, but I was able to get away with snapping a few pictures for the purpose of this review.

I visited this lounge during Dia de Los Muertos also known as the Mexican Halloween which explains the festive décor.

The lounge wasn’t relatively crowded and there was plenty of seating available.

I didn’t see any buffet spreads and I assumed that food items must be ordered off the menu just like in the other two Centurion Club Lounges in the airport. I didn’t spend much time in this lounge but I did see that Platinum cardholders have access to the private cabanas.

The lounge also features a business center with iPads and also a private conference room.

There is also a bar area located in the middle of the lounge where you can order complimentary drinks.
