Yesterday, I talked about my current mileage run vacation to Singapore. To prepare for local time zone in Singapore, I decided to not sleep for a few days and stay awake until Friday 12:30am which is the time I will be arriving in Singapore. I had my full night’s 8 hours of sleep on Sunday night. I felt refreshed Monday and decided not to sleep on Tuesday which rolled into Wednesday because my redeye flight to DFW was at 1am.
Anyways, fast forward to this Wednesday morning and I’m at the American Express Centurion Lounge at Dallas Fort Worth Airport. I recently reviewed this amazing lounge and you can read it here. The past few days have been rough on me since I haven’t been sleeping, but I have been showering. I just want to let you know that I just had the best shower of my life which rivals that of luxury hotels.
Here’s a brief overview of the private shower facility at the DFW Centurion Lounge:
Plenty of towels and amenities such as a hair dryer and L’Occitane bath products.
No bathroom trip report is complete without a toilet picture.
The best part about the bathroom was the shower which features a rain-forest shower-head.
Now, I’ve been to many luxury hotels with rain-forest shower-heads like the W and the Westin Heavenly Shower. There’s just something about taking a nice hot shower in an airport coming right off a 2 and a half hour red-eye flight when you’re tired AF. I totally under estimated the power of the shower.
