Points Summary

Narita Airport Satellite Terminal 2 JAL Sakura Lounge

My flight from Dallas landed in Narita International Airport’s Satellite Building in Terminal 2. There are quite a lot of oneworld lounges in the Main Building and the Satellite Building of Terminal 2. The Satellite Building is basically gates 81-99 of Terminal 2 and can connect to the Main Building via a walkway. The first lounge I visited was the Japan Airlines Sakura Lounge in Satellite Terminal 2.

I was able to access the JAL Sakura Lounge since I am a oneworld emerald member traveling on an international itinerary.

It’s a business class lounge and it can get pretty busy in the afternoon.

There are a few seats for plane spotting which is a plus.

The Sakura Lounge also has a business center equipped with computers.

There are also “cell phone” enclosed rooms if you need to yap away without bothering others.

The highlight of the lounge is the extensive food selections and by that, I mean delicious sushi. The food selections consisted of miso soup, sushi, sandwiches, and salted snacks.

There was a huge selection of beverages such as juices, soda from the soda fountain, liquor, wine, and sake.

The Sakura Lounge also has a Japanese beer dispensing machine which automatically pours a perfect glass every time.

I had some beer and sushi to pass time during my short layover in Narita International Airport.
