Old Airport Road is most famous for its hawker food center and it’s located south of the Geylang neighborhood. Old Airport Road is mainly known as a local’s hangout because there are very few tourists that venture out here. There’s more than just hawker food at Old Airport Road and it’s one of the area’s most inexpensive places to buy fresh local produce.

I took the mass rapid transit from the Downtown to Dakota MRT station.
There used to be an airport on Old Airport Road called Kallang Airport, but now they’ve built apartments on top of the old airfield.
You can find a Food Centre on Old Airport Road which is basically a hawker food center.
The most famous hawker center in the area is called the Old Airport Road Hawker Center. You can find endless stalls among stalls of local Singaporean eats.
There is also a shopping center called Kallang Estate where you can buy clothing, produce, and flowers.
Next door is a supermarket where you can buy more produce, meat, and fresh seafood.
The shopping never ends and continues to the outdoor markets where you can find more produce and counterfeit DVDs.
