LAX Airport Korean Air KAL Skyteam Business Class Lounge

The Korean Air KAL Skyteam Business Class Lounge is located inside the newly renovated Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) at Los Angeles International Airport. This was my first time seeing the new TBIT terminal at LAX Airport which is jaw dropping beautiful each and every way.

After clearing security in the Tom Bradley Terminal, I proceeded to follow the signs for the KAL Lounge which means Korean Air Lounge. There are two Korean Airlines lounges at TBIT, one for First Class passengers and the other one is for Business Class passengers. I visited the Korean Air Skyteam Business Class lounge since I wasn’t flying first class.

I was able to access the KAL Skyteam Lounge because of my Priority Pass membership. The KAL Lounge is the only lounge in the Tom Bradley International Terminal that accepts Priority Pass (not the Oneworld LAX lounge and not Star Alliance LAX lounge).

The Korean Airlines lounge was ridiculously crowded at 9pm in the evening. This is probably the biggest lounge I’ve ever been to and almost every seat was occupied.

The non-occupied seats were at the empty bar and the area with dining tables.

The buffet spread consisted of a veggie tray with ranch, various mixed fruit, various mini sandwiches, canapes, pretzels, chips and salsa, muffins, cereal, and cup of ramen and udon noodles.

Beverages included coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages from the mini fridge.

I had a few sandwich varieties and a cup of udon noodles. The food was disappointing since there were no hot selections, but it was better than a typical domestic US lounge.

The best part about the Korean Airlines lounge is the outdoor deck. It was crowded as well, but one section was empty.

The breathtaking views of the new Tom Bradley International Terminal from above the outdoor deck were priceless.
