Points Summary

Hong Kong Airport Cathay Pacific The Bridge Lounge

There are six different Cathay Pacific Lounges at Hong Kong International Airport. I’ve previously reviewed ‘The Wing’ First Class Lounge, but there’s also a Business Class lounge there as well. There’s also a lounge called ‘The Arrivals’ for arriving premium passengers. The other three lounges are called ‘The Pier’, ‘The Cabin’, and ‘The Bridge’. This review will be for ‘The Bridge’ Lounge.

After checking out ‘The Wing’ First Class Lounge, I proceeded to take the terminal airport passenger train from Gate 1 to Gate 35. I visited the lounge closest to Gate 35 which is called The Bridge.

I was able to access ‘The Bridge’ because I was flying on a First Class ticket. Business Class ticketed passengers, oneworld sapphires and emeralds are also eligible for access to The Bridge lounge.

Cathay Pacific’s The Bridge lounge is pretty huge and had plenty of seating in the morning.

There is also additional seating in the dining area.

The breakfast buffet spread consisted of sausage, bacon, tomatoes, eggs, congee (jook), oatmeal, assorted dim sum, bread, cereal, assorted cheese, pasta, yogurt, and mixed fruit.

Assorted juices and milk were available along with a fridge full of water bottles and soft drinks.

The food selections were very typical for breakfast, but can’t beat the granddaddy of them all, ‘The Wing’ First Class lounge. I was disappointed that there wasn’t a Noodle Bar at ‘The Bridge’, but there is one at ‘The Wing’ Business Class lounge. I would highly suggest staying at ‘The Wing’ First Class or Business Class lounge before boarding your flight (even though you have to take a passenger train from Gate 1 to Gate 35). Be aware that there is no train from Gate 35 back to Gate 1 (it’s a long 20 minute walk though!)
