March 1st, the day new award program benefits go into effect, has finally arrived. I logged into my accounts this morning to check out the new benefits and discovered some changes to the Starwood Website. For me, the most notable change is the removal of the current year progress thermometer. I found that such an easy way to determine where I was toward status for the year. Now I have to do the math in my head – not the worst thing I guess.
I do like the new pop-up window explaining my benefits – shown below. I’m looking forward to taking advantage of my new benefits – 50 night benefit – 10 suite nights and 75 night benefit – earning 4 Starpoints per dollar, Your24 (the ability to check-in and check-out anytime you like). Lucky for me, I’ll have 22 nights in March at Starwood hotels and plenty of opportunity this year to take advantage of the these changes.
