The day is here, after weeks of discussion and debates, brainstorming and building, First2Board is LIVE!
In just 45 short days First2Board went from zero to real! It took a team of amazing people, and amazing bloggers to get to this point, and we’re so proud to be live.
Why F2B?
As a former Boarding Area blogger I learned an extensive amount about growing a blog, finding a niche and reaching an audience. After a year on Boarding Area I decided along with Dennis of Lufthansa Flyer, to strike out on our own adventure. Everyone has asked, why did we leave BoardingArea? Very simple, we wanted to try something new with our blogs and Boarding Area and Randy were very supportive of that. Our niche is going to be different from Boarding Areas’s and many of the other blog aggregation sites out there. I will continue to read many BoardingArea Blogs and you should too! There’s tons of great content on BoardingArea.
Our goal with F2B is to provide some unique, some new, some well known bloggers who have a focus on travel – travel experiences, industry news, trip planning, travel education, travel book reviews and who will share with you how they travel using their points and miles.
Why are we different?
F2B founders made the decision to remain credit card affiliate link free and refrain from blogging about miles/points earning schemes involving credit cards. We made this decision for many reasons, but primarily because the web is flooded with these types of posts and we want to offer different content. If you’re interested in learning about the best deals out there, what credit card offers you should look into, how to maximize your credit cards, etc…there are probably hundreds of opinions and blog posts on the topics. If this topic interests you, we suggest you visit The Frugal Travel Guy site.

Sure would like to enter, but since I don’t do Twitter or Facebook, I’m left looking for blue airplanes, none of which apparently exist. Disappointing contest; sure would be nice is someone responded as to how to actually enter that third way – where are the airplanes? I’ve been all over the sister blogs, to no avail.

@Dave – it’s been on different blogs every day. Yesterday it was on 4 blog posts on different sites. The only browser we know has some issues is Safari, the rest are tested fine.
The plane is not on the contest info page. It’s on lots of other places and moves every day. You just have to find the plane.
