Hello Eva, Hello Kitty, HELLO Star Alliance

It’s official! Eva Airlines – and all of their Hello Kitty planes – have joined the Star Alliance. Now, you too can fly Hello Kitty using your Star Alliance miles. Kids, and kids at heart are all rejoicing today.  From the Star Alliance website I learned that EVA’s hub, Taiwan, is the shortest average geographic distance from every major city in the Asia-‐Pacific region, making it especially convenient for travelers making connections.  Interesting fact that I wasn’t aware of.

If you remember, I had the unique opportunity to fly on one of Eva’s Hello Kitty jets. While I would never, ever fly Hello Kitty again, I would absolutely fly Eva.  The crew and staff were all very helpful, the planes are similar to what you’ll find in the region on comparable airlines.

Welcome to Star Alliance Eva!
