Rules:

– The Promotion is open to legal residents of the United States and DC who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry, and who have Internet access, a Twitter Account (which is free to create)  and a valid e-mail account prior to the beginning of the Promotion Period.

– Void where prohibited by law

– There is 1 prize and the value is $500

– Promotion end August 30, 2013 at 11:5pm PT

– Winner will be selected at random on September 1st  and notified via direct message.  The winner must be following @VeryGoodPoints at the time of drawing or prize is forfeited.

ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND ON THE NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED. Prize drawing will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions regarding the prize drawings are final and binding in all respects. Potential winning entry is subject to verification by Sponsor. A participant is not a winner of the prize until his or her eligibility and the potential winning entry have been verified. Sponsor makes no warranties, representations or guarantees relative to any prize, and disclaims all liability for the provision, use, quality or nature of any third party product or service provided to a winner.

No transfer, assignment or substitutions are permitted by potential winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of or equal or greater value, at its sole discretion. Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, including without limitation, any applicable income taxes on prize and for any other expenses relating to the use of prize. Sponsor, to the extent required by law, reserves the right to notify local, state and federal taxing or regulatory authorities of the identity of the winner, the value of the prize, and any other information required by any applicable statute, regulation, or ordinance. All federal, state and local laws apply. All prizes may not be awarded if an insufficient number of eligible entries are received.

Employees, officers, directors, agents, compensated hosts and bloggers and representatives of Sponsor, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies and their respective suppliers, advertising, promotion and administrative agencies (hereafter, collectively “Released Parties”) and their respective affiliated entities, as well as the immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, any child, husband, wife, regardless of where they reside), and/or persons living in the same household of such persons, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win the Promotion.  The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) computer equipment or hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature, (ii) any lost or delayed data transmission, (iii) any incorrect or inaccurate entry of information of any kind, whether caused by users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion or by any technical or human error, which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Promotion, including, but not limited to, typographical or other errors in printing or posting of the offer or official rules, the selection and announcement of any winner, or the distribution of any prize, or (iv) any other error or malfunction which affects potential entrants’ abilities to submit an entry. By accepting a prize, winner grants to Sponsor, and those acting pursuant to Sponsor’s permission, the right and permission at any time to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, throughout the world in perpetuity, including, but not limited to, the world wide web, the winner’s name, voice, likeness and/or biographical information and tweets as news or information and for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without additional consideration, and without review, notice or approval, except where prohibited by law.
