Leblon is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro. There’s just so much going on in Leblon beach and within the local neighborhood. Leblon is considered the safest from the nearby Copacabana and Ipanema neighborhoods. Sao Conrado which is also known as the Beverly Hills of Rio de Janeiro is considered the safest in all of Rio de Janeiro.

Like Copacabana and Ipanema, cariocas (Rio locals) love to wake up early and get into their daily routine.
Some cariocas like to fish in the mornings.
Most cariocas like to exercise in the form of lifting weights, running, playing beach volleyball, yoga, and riding bikes.
During the day, you can relax in front of the beach and grab a nearby beach chair from a vendor. They are located everywhere and I call them the beach chair mafia.
Refresh yourself with food and drink in one of the many sidewalk stalls.
Within the Leblon neighborhood, you can find many shops and restaurants that cariocas like to frequent.
