A few months ago, I wrote Why Twitter is Important in the Miles and Points Game. Earlier today, the miles and points Twitterverse was talking about the ex-USA fares to Europe, Australia, and Middle East for as low as $149 Taxes included!
Twitter is basically the best current form of breaking news for deals and it’s even used in broadcast journalism.
If you haven’t signed up for Twitter yet, you should do so here: http://www.twitter.com
The deal (currently dead) was started by The Flight Deal and their site was even brought down by the massive Retweets and chatter going on in the Twitterverse.
I have gotten so many great deals and deal discussions from Twitter. Recent deals include:
LAX-DXB (Los Angeles to Dubai, UAE) for $271 Taxes Included
LAX-SCL (Los Angeles to Santiago, Chile) for $316 Taxes Included
MEX-EZE (Mexico City to Buenos Aires, Argentina) for $127 Taxes Included
Here is a list of constantly ACTIVE Twitter followers that you should follow in case another deal breaks out and you want to join in on their conversation:

Good job rounding our your list with some ladies! I shared this on Facebook because those are the folks who NEED to be on Twitter.
