The Various Eats in Geneva Switzerland

This isn’t meant to be a comprehensive guide on a variety of different things to eat in Geneva, Switzerland. I was only there for two days and only ate out at restaurants twice during my entire stay. Food in Geneva is heavily influenced by the Italian and the French as there is no national dish in Switzerland.

There are plenty of chain restaurants in Geneva if you’re looking to not spend as much while eating. I went to a Starbucks and snacked on some macarons in a McDonald’s McCafe.

You can also find inexpensive small coffee shops and pastries such as bretzels.

Kebabs are also inexpensive in Geneva.

The most popular place to eat in Geneva is Place du Molard which houses many brasseries and trendy restaurants in a romantic part of town.

Some of the restaurants in Place du Molard include Café du Centre which specializes in Moules et Frites, Brasserie du Molard, and Le Flore Pizzeria.

I dined at Molino Ristorante which specializes in pizza. One of the best things about Molino is the outdoor setting.

I had bruschetta with a Margherita pizza.

I also ordered a Margherita pizza and a salad from another eatery in Geneva.
