The neighborhood sidewalks of Plaza Barrios are extremely busy with a plethora of street vendor stalls. In addition there are many beautiful buildings, museums, and churches located in the neighborhood of Plaza Barrios.

I took the Transmetro BRT (bus rapid transit) to Estacion Plaza Barrios where there was a beautiful monumental statue in the plaza.
There’s also a museum called the Museo del Ferrocarrill Fegua in Plaza Barrios.
There are also governmental buildings and churches.
The sidewalks are packed chalk full of street vendors that are lined up by stalls under green tents.
You can find counterfeit DVD movies, fake designer clothing, cell phone accessories, leather goods, pens, and even toothpaste.
You can even find boxed and individual cigarettes for sale which I suspect are counterfeit.
There are also many vendors selling shoes and sneakers.
In addition, you can find local produce on the street.
You can even get a haircut for Q10 ~ ($1.29 USD) in Guatemala City. The haircut shops are intertwined with the green tent vendor stalls.
Guatemala City is famous for the abundance of street food. You can find all sorts of local cuisine here. My favorites are the tacos and chorizo (sausages).
