Trip Report: My Mileage Run Vacation to San Pedro Sula Honduras

Last year I went to San Pedro Sula, Honduras which was dubbed the most dangerous place on Earth (outside of a war zone). I walked all around downtown San Pedro Sula for 3 days and felt completely safe. The weather was fantastic and the locals were really friendly. I love how there weren’t any tourists meandering around and didn’t hesitate to book another trip back to beautiful Honduras.

Introduction to San Pedro Sula

Thanks to The Flight Deal, I found an amazing fare from Los Angeles to San Pedro Sula for $317.20 where I’ll earn 6,415 miles @ 4.9cpm which isn’t too bad for Honduras. My routing is: LAX-MIA-SAP-MIA-LAX.

This time around, I’ll be staying in San Pedro Sula for one night before exploring the beautiful Caribbean beaches of Tela and La Ceiba for a total of 3 nights and 4 days. I’ll be renting a car from San Pedro Sula International Airport (SAP) and Snapchatting everywhere I go!
