Points Summary

American Airlines LAX Flagship Lounge

I started out this journey by booking a separate one-way ticket on American Airlines from LAX-ORD for $109 and was able to get upgraded easily as an Executive Platinum. To use the Flagship Lounge, you must be an Executive Platinum traveling on an international itinerary. There was no way to link my two separate tickets LAX-ORD and ORD-LHR-TLV together, so what I did was I printed out my TLV itinerary just in case the AAngels needed proof.

I showed up at the Admiral’s Club at around 5am which is opening time and went upstairs to try and gain access to the coveted Flagship Lounge. I explained the agent that I knew I was suppose to start from ORD, but plans changed and I had to book a separate one-way ticket and asked if she could allow me access. She asked if I was traveling the same day and I replied yes. She told me to come back at 5:15am when the Flagship Lounge opens and I thanked her.

My flight left at 6am, so it was boarding beginning to board at 5:30 and I only had 15 minutes to take pictures and scarf down my breakfast so I will leave you with pictures of the LAX Flagship Lounge:

Recently, I’ve been playing around with a new social media app called Vine which is basically like Instagram, but for videos. The videos cap at 6 seconds, but believe it or not, you can actually capture a lot with 6 seconds. You can find the video here:  http://vine.co/v/bnKH1MimMMD
