Sao Paulo, Brazil is a foodie haven. There were so many different types of local Brazilian food and I could not possibly try everything with the short amount of time spent in Sao Paulo.

When I landed in Sao Paulo Gruhulous Airport, I went and grabbed a Pao de Queijo (cheese bread) and a cohixna de frango (chicken) at Balloon Cafe. I washed it down with choppe (beer)

Guarana Antartica is the national Brazilian soft drink.

Around the Sao Bento area, there were a lot of street vendors selling fresh juices along with frango (chicken) on a rotating spit for $R2 ($1 USD)

I had lunch at ponto 27 at the Mercado Municipal which serves pastels e lanches. I had a carne con quiejo (beef with cheese) pastel and suco de maracuja (passion fruit juice).

While strolling around the Se neighborhood, I came across a coconut vendor.

I stopped by the Cafe e Pao De Queijo and ordered a pao de queijo.

I had dinner at Devassa near the Sheraton Sao Paulo and ordered a Picadinha which is diced filet mignon served with rice, black bean, banana farofa, and a poached egg. I also ordered a choppe (beer) to go along with my meal.

Back at the airport, I had an acai berry smoothie drink from tostex. It was delicious!
